After 5 years of dealing with ezboard's seemingly constant server problems, technical issues and mess that was caused by the hacker, I've decided to set up a new board on another service. The board is up and running now. It's still in a design and construction phase, and please, if you have any suggestions, let me know!

The new board will be a little different. Really a great movie set in LA in the 40's.
Saw this yesterday. Not bad, but not great either. It's basically the origin of the Fantastic Four with a set up for a sequel. Not as much action as most of the superhero type films, lower quality acting. In fact I didn't recognize most of the actors. Jessica Alba was ok to look at (kinda strange looking in my opinion) but she's not much of an actor. Writing was poor.
Fred
NEW CD -...

I guess most of his work has been performed on the "chitlin circuit". He wrote this and played 3 different characters in it, one of whom was a big black woman who was hilarious. His actual home (incredible mansion) was part of the set. This is a funny movie but powerful with themes of love and forgiveness. Spiritual too. A woman's marriage of 18 years ends. These reviewers must not be familiar much with the original stories. This film was far closer to the original Batman stories than any of the other films. Very dark story (and I don't mean Tim Burtonesquing the film in dark, drab colors).
